Le Marche
The Region
Le Marche is one of the most magnificent and comprehensive regions of Italy. It is a region in Central Italy, between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines, which experts describe as the best kept secret of Italy. In the North it borders to Emilia Romagna and San Marino, southern to the Abruzzo and Lazio and in the west to Tuscany and Umbria.
With wonderful (bath) beaches, beautiful hills, ancient villages and very friendly people (i marchigiani) it has everything to offer to be labeled as your ideal holiday destination.
Gastronomy
Le Marche can definitely please the lovers of gastronomy. The regional kitchen serves delicious dishes of fish, meat and pasta. These are flanked by fine wines such as the Verdicchio, Lacrima, Rosso Conero and many others.
In the immediate vicinity there are plenty of restaurants, where you can still enjoy eating out at affordable prices. We would love to give you some tips about the places to be! For those who like to cook, there are also several supermarkets in the surrounding area with daily fresh departments (fish just off the net!) and local products.
The breathtaking hilly landscape is the ideal setting for a beautiful walk, bicycle or Vespa trip. On the beaches (bandiera blue) soak up the sun or perform water activities. A selection from the offer:
